The FunJobs Homewares Story

Growing up in the country, gardening has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. At just four years old, my mother handed me a watering can and made me water our country garden by hand. By the age of six, she encouraged me to create my very first vegetable garden in an old chook yard, and that's where my love of gardening truly began.Over the past 20 years, after experiencing several health scares, I came to appreciate the incredible physical and mental health benefits of growing my own food. Gardening became more than just a hobby, it became a source of wellbeing, resilience and joy.As my garden evolved, I began planting fruit trees amongst my ornamental roses. It was then that I discovered a frustrating problem. Every pair of gardening gloves I bought from local hardware stores either split at the fingertips, felt uncomfortable, or looked like they had been designed with men in mind rather than women. When I searched for better alternatives online, I found very few options that were both practical and beautiful.Determined to change that, I set out to design a glove specifically for women, one that combined durability, comfort and style. Many manufacturers told me my ideas couldn't be made, but I refused to give up. After countless hours of design, testing and perseverance, FunJobs Homewares were born.Today, I'm proud to share them with gardeners everywhere. I hope they make your time in the garden more comfortable, more colourful, and inspire you to enjoy every moment spent outdoors.
